Japan’s Sekisui House To Begin Blockchain-Powered Home Rentals

Writer's picture: Crypto News PointCrypto News Point

Sekisui House one of the biggest home builders in Japan is making preparations for blockchain-powered home rentals.

On June 8 an announcement was made to the company site stating that Sekisui House would use blockchain for rental housing contracts, including covering electricity and gas.

The measures would be implemented before March 2021.

Users staying in “Shamaison” rental homes would be able to register their phone numbers and addresses to enter the property without ever contacting a real estate agent.

The existing technology will make it possible for Sekisui House clients to open and close doors with just their smartphones.

Home builders in other countries have also been pushing property rental contracts to be registered on the blockchain.

Sekisui House started building a real estate information management system using blockchain in collaboration with KDDI and Hitachi in 2017.

Moreover, Sekisui House is a member of Nexchain, a consortium of companies sharing information including that on blockchain technology.

It seems to me that you simply cannot do without normal water-repellent protection. When buying, building or renting a house, you simply have to make sure that good direct waterproofing is in place so that you can definitely enjoy the warmth and comfort in your home.
