Lamborghini Speeds Into Web3 With VeVe For Iconic New NFT Collection

Lamborghini, the historic luxury car manufacturer, are speeding into web3 with the VeVe digital marketplace with an iconic new nonfungible token (NFT) collection.

It has been reported that the collection is LIVE on February 19. Also, the first car to feature as a collectible is the Lamborghini Huracán STO. This drop features four first-edition Lamborghini digital artifacts.

However, these editions are split across four tiers, ranging from Uncommon to Secret Rare. The Lamborghini collection is exclusive to the VeVe digital platform. The digital marketplace is available on the App store (Apple) or Play store (Android) and as a standalone website.

The report said that the Lamborghini Huracan STO (Super Trofeo Omologata) is a road-adapted super sports car inspired by the sporting legacy of the iconic car brand. The car draws its motor heritage from its three-time 24 Hours of Daytona-winning and also two-time 12 Hours of Sebring winning Huracán GT3 EVO. Additionally, the inspiration also flows from Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s one-make race series with Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. This digital collectible is a must have for all car lovers and enthusiasts.

David Yu, the Co-Founder of VeVe, said:

“Lamborghini has always been on the forefront of luxury and innovation when it comes to supersports cars, establishing an iconic legacy that is second to none. VeVe is thrilled to collaborate with Automobili Lamborghini to expand their innovative ways into the digital realm and bring back one of the most iconic supercars of all-time, the Huracán.”

Likewise, the first group of Lamborghini Huracán VeVe digital collectible colorways include -- Bianco Asopo/Blu Le Mans, Grigio Titans/Giallo Belenus, Rosso Epona/Grigio Adamas, and Verde Citrea/Arancio DAC.

VeVe is a unique digital platform that allows digital showcases for its collectors. The NFTs are displayed as 3D digital models. Users can also visit, comment on, and like the different showrooms from different collectors. The platform also offers an Augmented Reality (AR) photo mode.

This mode also allows collectors to interact with every digital collectible in 3D and share the NFTs with the world. The VeVe platform also uses gasless transactions and this reduces its environmental footprint by 99%. The app was created for collectors by collectors in 2018.

VeVe’s vision is to bring NFTs to the mass market. As of the time of writing, with over 8 million NFTs sold, VeVe is also one of the largest digital collectibles platforms. It is also one of the top-grossing Entertainment Apps in the Google Play and Apple stores.

Thus, VeVe offers premium licensed collectibles from leading brands including DC Comics and Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, tokidoki, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future and more.
