Pavillion Hub Games Platform Integrates With Steam To Enable Easy Issue Of Tradable NFTs

The Pavillion Hub games platform has integrated with Steam to enable the easy issue of tradable non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as blockchain’s inexorable push into the world of gaming is occurring simultaneously on a number of fronts.

It has been reported that GOATi Entertainment is taking a dual-headed approach of its own with its Pavillion Hub offering by targeting both the developers and players on one of the largest gaming platforms Steam.

However, powered by Phantasma blockchain, Pavillion Hub acts as a kind of blockchain-enhanced front end for Steam.

Announcing our full Steam interoperability 🚀 With our #Pavillion API, you can seamlessly play a #Steam game using a #blockchain back-end. Gamers can simply link their Steam accounts to the downloaded app, and play all of their existing Steam content. The app will also create a Phantasma wallet for the player by allowing them to seamlessly utilize tradable NFTs, along with their Steam inventory.

It has been analyzed that game developers can use the blockchain back-end of Pavillion to deliver the same in-game inventory through NFT assets, as this stretches from in-game items and expansion packs to mods and even the game licenses themselves. The real draw is that it enables this with no need for specialist blockchain knowledge.

As per the report, Steam has locked down the selling of individual in-game assets, which means that the only way to profit from those level 99 warlocks that users have spent the last 4 years leveling is to sell their entire steam account and game licenses.

With Pavillion Hub’s NFT marketplace, any item represented as an NFT can be bought and sold. This means users’ rare amulets, complete characters, and even game licenses can be sold on.

Also, it enables the modding community to monetize their skill, as game mods and extensions can also be freely traded.

Thus, the platform also allows the running of events, with smart contracts dealing with the collection and distribution of GOATi tokens, through betting or prize money.
