Skrill-Based Paysafe Integrates Additional 20 Cryptocurrencies Into Its Digital Wallet

Report said that Skrill-based Paysafe has integrated an additional 20 cryptocurrencies into its digital wallet, providing users with another legacy onramp to digital assets.

It has been reported that customers outside the United States will have access to 35 cryptocurrencies in total. Crypto buy and sell services are also available in 48 US states and territories.

However, the newly supported cryptocurrencies include major DeFi assets like Aave, Balancer, Curve, Compound, Synthetix, Uniswap, and SushiSwap. Polygon and Dogecoin (DOGE) were also added. Users of NETELLER, another money transfer service within the Paysafe group, will also have access to the expanded crypto wallet.

Rupinder Singh, the Senior Vice President at Paysafe, said:

“After a surge in overall activity in the industry we’re seeing more interest in cryptocurrency than ever from our digital wallet customers, both current and new. Our aim is to make it ever easier for consumers to get started in crypto using Skrill or NETELLER.”

The report said that Skrill was eyeing a major pivot to cryptocurrencies with fiat-to-crypto conversion services and full integration of Bitcoin (BTC) into its Quick Checkout module. Skrill’s internal research from earlier this year discovered that, among 8,000 customers surveyed, 28% believe that cryptocurrencies are a good investment for the future.

Thus, 38% indicated that they had already acquired cryptocurrency.
