Sophia, the humanoid robot attended the Web Summit stage where she was asked questions on blockchains and cryptocurrencies.
On Nov. 6, the humanoid robot attended the web summit in Lisbon, Portugal where she answered on topics such as artificial intelligence and robotic intelligence.
Sophia was asked on blockchain, bitcoin, cryptocurrencies. She responded:
“I know what cryptocurrencies are, but I
do not use them yet myself. I don’t use money at all.”

Sophia explained to the audiences on the workings of artificial intelligence, while assuring that robot supremacy is a far story.
In January, the decentralized artificial intelligence firm SingularityNET announced a partnership with agriculture-focused blockchain startup Hara. The blockchain startup will provide useful details such as prices of grain, soil quality and ownership and land details.
SingularityNET was under global limelight as being the developer of Hansan Robotics. The robotics firm’s chief scientist, Ben Goertzel, is also SingularityNET’s founder and CEO.
